Bridesmaids no more. The UP Streetdance Club ended back-to-back runners-up finish and snatched their first ever title, as they bested seven other dance crews, including reigning champions De La Salle University (DLSU), in the 3rd UAAP Street Dance Competition, Saturday, March 23, at the SM North EDSA Skydome, Quezon City. Another down the wire affair. The UP men's football team almost sent the series to Game 3 in ordinary play, but lost another shootout and settled for the second place, after losing to the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Blue Booters, 2–4 in penalties, as the UAAP Season 75 tournament drew to a close, Sunday, February 24, at the Ateneo Moro Lorenzo Field, Quezon City.
